Job Description
Pay Range: Starting at $17.75 an hour

Role:
To preserve the Credit Union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan
payments and/or recovering collateral. The individual in this position must be a natural problem solver and have
keen attention to detail as well as flawless execution. Must be able to handle multiple facet communications and
applicational websites (emails, data, data entry).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Performs administrative duties with respect to Repossessions function. (EX: AKUVO activities, Deficiency letters, mailing of Recession Demand Letters)
Maintains timely data entry of repossessions in AKUVO and CPI provider website (weekly repos sold, claims status/creation)
File CPI claims for repossession fees/expenses and Premium Deficiency
Maintains accurate files and reports on all check posting activity.
Maintains communications with CPI adjusters on pending CPI claims
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. All administrative duties within the collection function are performed timely, without error, and with 100% compliance.
2. Collection and/or recovery of credit union assets is optimal and meets goals.
3. Accurate and complete records of all collection and recovery activity are kept
4. Policies and regulations as set forth in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) are always followed.
5. Provides informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and employees.
6. Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for
the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting
cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion,
requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Basic MS skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly. Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask.
Physical Requirements: This role requires sitting at a computer for most of the day. This role would also require the
ability to file files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Reasonable

Work Environment: The position is based in-office in our Pensacola, Florida market, operates primarily in an office setting, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. This position requires consistent presence in the office to collaborate with team members and fulfill job responsibilities effectively. It requires the ability to actively participate in conference calls and meetings with other Credit Union team members and vendors. The normal expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm but may be required to work nights and/or weekends. Must adhere to safety rules and
regulations.
