Schedule & Shift : 1st & 2nd shift (4x10 Schedule) (1st 5 : 00 am - 3 : 00 PM) (2nd 2 : 45 PM - 12 : 45 AM)
Location : Pueblo, CO
Remote : On-site
Pay Range : $19.96 to $27.41 Hourly (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary
Gulfco Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Machining Department. Qualified individuals will have 4-10 years of experience as a CNC Machinist and be able to run and set up parts in a CNC Mill or Lathe.
Responsibilities
Candidate must be able to independently run and set up a CNC machine and work within strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Independently runs and sets up parts on multiple CNC machines (Lathe and Mills).
- Measures, marks, and scribe’s dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
- Set up and operate the machine on a trial run to verify the accuracy of machine settings.
- Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
- Develop specifications from a general description and draw a sketch of the part or product to be fabricated.
- Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
