Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting jewelry that meets their needs and preferences.
- Answer customer questions about jewelry products, materials, and pricing.
- Build rapport with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Sales:
- Present and demonstrate jewelry products to customers, highlighting features and benefits.
- Close sales transactions efficiently and accurately, using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Store Maintenance:
- Maintain the appearance and organization of jewelry displays and the store environment.
- Ensure that jewelry is properly displayed and stocked.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including stock checks and replenishment.
- Follow store policies and procedures regarding security, safety, and loss prevention.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-selling and sales-driving events, including trunk shows.
- Provide after-sales service, such as wrapping, cleaning, resizing, or repairing jewelry.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Experience in a jewelry retail environment is a plus.
- Experience with precious metals, and auctions is highly desireable
- Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of jewelry types, materials, and trends.
- Understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to handle cash and other forms of payment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

- High school diploma or equivalent
