What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telephonic On-Call NP/PA position at Gulfside Healthcare Services?
Reporting to the Manager of APRNs, the APRN provides comprehensive and efficient direct primary or consultative patient care under protocol with hospice physician staff. Utilize clinical expertise and participate in diagnostic and management decision making while promoting maximization of quality of life for patients and caregivers. This position is responsible for medication review/ordering and managing calls from Triage RN's and RN's in the field.
This position is remote but may be required to come on-site if necessary. Only applicants in the Tampa Bay area will be considered.
Shift: Monday - Friday 5pm - 10pm
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- APRN certification recognized by CMS for Medicare billing
- Licensure by state of Florida to work as ARNP
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete medication review for new admissions.
- Manage all calls from the Triage nurse and nurses in the field.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of APRNs.
