Job Summary
We seek an experienced and highly skilled Chiller Technician to join our San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will have a local, stable work history and bring over five years of hands-on experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various types of chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal units. In addition to chiller expertise, this role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing large rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
Responsibilities
- Chiller Maintenance & Repair : Perform thorough maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal chillers.
- Large RTU Diagnostics & Repair : Diagnose and repair large rooftop units (RTUs) weighing 20 to 200 tons, ensuring system efficiency.
- Boiler & Mechanical System Repair : Conduct service and repair tasks on commercial boilers and other major HVAC mechanical equipment.
- VRF Systems Expertise : Diagnose and repair Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems as part of comprehensive HVAC service.
- Manufacturer Training Application : Apply knowledge from manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Trane, Carrier, York, Mitsubishi, etc.) to provide high-quality service.
- Safety & Compliance : Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards in all job functions.
- Documentation & Client Communication : Maintain accurate service records, provide detailed reports, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
