Job Summary
We seek an experienced Controls Project Manager to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Omaha, NE. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge HVAC control systems, optimizing building performance and energy efficiency. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a strong technical background in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of BAS / DDC projects, from planning and design through execution and closeout, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines.
- Manage system integrations and commissioning for HVAC controls, including chillers, boilers, and advanced building automation platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid to manage project documentation, design reviews, and scheduling.
- To maintain project profitability and efficiency, monitor budgets, track financial performance, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
