We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Mechanical Sales—service and special Projects to lead business development and service operations in Phoenix, AZ. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of commercial HVAC, mechanical service, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, client relationship management, and operational oversight, driving revenue growth while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in commercial HVAC service, retrofit, and special projects.
- Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and service teams, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous professional development.
- Oversee project execution, service contracts, and customer satisfaction, ensuring all work meets industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Cultivate relationships with key clients, property managers, general contractors, and facility owners to drive long-term partnerships.
- Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities, manage budgets, forecast sales, and optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; advanced leadership training or industry certifications are a plus.
- 15 years of experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical service sales and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage P&L responsibilities in a mechanical service division.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping, including maintenance, retrofit, and project execution.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and develop top talent.
- Stable work history, preferably with experience in the Phoenix, AZ market.
