Rental Car Manager / Toyota Rent a Car
Gullo Toyota is seeking a Rental Manager that will oversee the daily operations of the dealership's rental department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Service Associates, Sales Associates, Service Managers, and Sales Managers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and sales functions of the department.
- Achieve established goals to include fleet utilization, revenue per unit, daily dollar average and profit per rental day.
- Ensure maximum profitability through effective utilization of the fleet and control of expenses.
- Oversee the proper security procedures for keys, equipment and assets.
- Respond to customer’s inquiries and/or issues.
- Monitor rental agreements to ensure correct rates and expenses are being charged, required information is collected and verified.
- Maintain productive working relationship and open line of communication all internal departments.
- Oversee services offered to customers at the rental counter to include rental of vehicles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Two years of customer service experience (preferred)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills
