We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in accordance with practice policies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for record-keeping and appointment management.
- Support the front office with receptionist duties when needed.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
