Position Summary:
The Cage Banker is responsible for providing unsurpassed service to both external and internal guests while safeguarding the assets of Gun Lake Casino Resort. The Cage Banker performs exchanges of cash and cash equivalents including but not limited to cheque redemption, check cashing, EZ-Pay ticket redemption, Outlet Bank issuing/receiving, and credit card advances. The Cage Banker is responsible for logging specific transactions set forth by Title 31 regulations. The Cage Banker performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Gun Lake Casino Resort standards, policies, and procedures.

In this Role:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and always promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s Four Diamond Standards.
- Safeguard the assets of Gun Lake Casino Resort.
- Follow all procedures and policies to ensure that cash handling is performed within accepted standards established by Management, Accounting, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend to external and internal Guest needs and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Issue credit to guests in accordance with established Gun Lake Casino Resort policy.
- Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift.
- Responsible for maintaining & balancing the main bank inventories accepting the drop, balancing the main bank, verifying all the cashier drawers, and balancing kiosks.
- Responsible for maintaining and bleeding the ECD’s (Electronic Cash Dispensers) on the frontline and providing doubles for the frontline.
- Responsible for maintaining RBG’s (Recyclers By Glory), assisting internal Guests with the RBG’s (passwords, training on use). Issuing and accepting GSA banks, Table Fills and Credits, Kiosk Fills and Issues (hand pays, coin jams, dispense error, paper fills), and providing doubles to the front line.
- Provide direction and service to our front-of-house cashier Team Members.
- Responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed as required as determined by the Cage stations assigned during a shift.
- Accurately record transactions related to Title 31 compliance.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Minimum three (3) years in the gaming industry dealing directly with Title 31 issues and suspicious activity reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office) and Adobe products.
- Must be able to obtain a Gun Lake Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
- Ability to sit at a computer for a long period of time.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an office environment or out on the casino floor. Work areas may be warm, cold, or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
