Gundersen Health System (becoming Emplify Health) is looking for a part-time (40 hours bi-weekly) Community Resource Specialist!
What You Will Work
- .5 FTE = 40 Hours every 2 weeks
- The schedule will primarily be rotating Day, mid-day, and PM shifts including every third weekend rotation of Days/PM's/Overnights. The schedule would not be the same each week, it would vary based on department need. Schedules are typically posted 6-8 weeks ahead.
- After 6 months of employment and with acceptable performance, this position is eligible for a remote/hybrid work schedule. You must be located in WI, MN or IA.
- Respond to callers' requests for Information and Referrals and crisis line services which includes supportive listening, follow-up, research, and advocacy for Great Rivers 2-1-1, and all other after-hours and specialized lines
- Supporting the maintenance of a comprehensive health and human services database
- Assist with the development and promotion of program activities
- Starting pay of $22.05/hour more for experience and generous shift differentials!

- Associate’s degree in human services-related field such as Social Work, Community Health, Psychology, Sociology or similar field.
- 1 year of previous experience in human services, basic knowledge of the Windows computer system.
- Mental Health First Aid USA within one year of hire
- InformUSA certified Community Resource Specialist within two years of becoming eligible
