Certification Details IA RN BLS ACLS PALS Job Details Job Description : Registered Nurse, Operating Room at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital Specialty : Operating Room Facility : Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital, West Union, IA Job Requirements IA RN License Minimum Experience : 2 years in specialty area Charting Experience Required : EPIC experience preferred Required Skillset : Ability to circulate and / or scrub Schedule Information Contract Length : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 40 hours Shift Requirements : 8-12hr Variable Shifts; start times range from 0630-0730 Weekend Call : every 3-4 weeks, Rotating holidays On Call / Call Back Requirements : 1 week of call every 3-4 weeks; 30-min response time Unit Specific Information Unit Information : GI, Ortho, Cataracts, Podiatry, Vascular, Pain Clinic, OB / GYN Additional Details OR RN - 8-12hr Variables Primary Cases : GI - colonoscopy / EGD; lap chole, appy, c-sections Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 typically for procedures; variable during afternoon clinic Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
