Gunderson Dettmer has an opening for a Senior Manager, CRM and MarTech. The Senior Manager, CRM and MarTech will serve as a critical member of the Firm’s revenue team, implementing and continuously improving the Firm’s CRM system to ensure data is reliable and easily accessible. Supporting the Firm’s overall data strategy and overseeing data management within the CRM, the Senior Manager will also collaborate with internal client engagement and marketing teams to implement automated campaigns supporting the client journey and direct the day-to-day functions of and provide leadership, guidance, and direction to direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, evaluate, mentor and motivate direct reports, contributing to their development and advancement by setting standards, goals and expectations for expected and successful performance.
  • Collaborate with team members from business analytics, marketing, innovation and IT to shape data strategy and successfully implement CRM.
  • Work with the Chief Revenue Officer to identify and analyze business trends to enhance client service and drive growth.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the CRM system, including data stewards tasked with data entry and cleansing, serving as point-of-contact for other departments and ensuring optimal connectivity with key business systems.
  • Coordinate with in-house developers and outside consultants on system integrations and data feeds mapping data flows.
  • Create business process and policy documentation and training materials.
  • Collaborate with Manager, Strategic Business Analytics, to ensure ongoing CRM data integrity and develop custom reporting and dashboards to track KPIs.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement proactively contributing ideas to streamline CRM workflows and enhance data quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications, or equivalent work experience; an MBA, or MA/MS related to marketing or communications is preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of CRM management experience, ideally an AmLaw 200 or larger firm, or professional services organization.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Track record of working under pressure, prioritizing competing demands, managing projects from inception to completion and meeting various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical understanding of CRM functionality and demonstrated experience ensuring quality control and support for firm strategy.
  • Strong attention to detail with proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to train others on CRM best practices, working across multiple offices with travel as needed.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and consistent use of good judgment and discretion.
  • Passionate about using technology to optimize the client experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • Member of professional organizations (such as LMA).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

This position is eligible for remote work.

The expected starting salary for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
