SUMMARY
The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, public areas, lunchrooms, locker rooms, work floor and restrooms for the facility. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable, safety-focused, self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
* Empty trash and replace trash bags
* Sweep, dust, mop, and strip floors
* Restock supplies
* Clean toilets, sinks, and office windows
* Shovel debris into dumpster
* Drive tiger truck to transport supplies
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
* Ability to use or learn how to use: broom, mop, dustpan, vacuum, shovel, bicycle, respirator, and cleaning agents.
* Ability to climb 12’ ladder
* Ability to drive a tiger truck
Education and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years janitorial or facilities cleaning experience required
* Valid driver license required
