We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Gunner, a premier home improvement company. This role involves managing outstanding invoices and collections for our home improvement projects, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive client relationships.
You will work closely with our Operations and Accounting teams to monitor accounts receivable, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain excellent customer experiences. Your expertise will be essential in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, preparing and sending invoices, and monitoring accounts receivable aging reports.
- Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure prompt payments and handle payment disputes efficiently.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, aligning with contract terms and project details.
- Send reminders and follow up on overdue invoices to keep collections on track.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collections efforts based on urgency.
- Manage the firm's lending options to facilitate client payments and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with project managers and accounting to ensure accurate billing and smooth payment processing.
- Provide regular updates on account status and maintain detailed records of all communications.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of debt collections experience, preferably in construction, home improvement, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Monday.com, and HubSpot CRM is a plus.
