The Senior Web Developer develops and maintains web applications using React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS services. Implements secure, scalable solutions to support the court's digital operations.
Skills & Qualifications :
- React.js : Working knowledge of React.js library for building user interfaces and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- HTML / CSS : Mastery of HTML and CSS for structuring and styling web pages.
- Node.js : Proficiency with Node.js for building server-side applications and handling dependencies with tools like npm or yarn.
- Python / pytest : Experience with Python for building packages and solutions as well as writing unit tests and integration tests.
- Version Control : Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development and managing codebase changes.
- Terraform : Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- AWS Services : Familiarity with core AWS services such as :
- AWS Lambda for serverless functions
- AWS S3 for storage
- AWS API Gateway for creating RESTful APIs
- AWS DynamoDB for NoSQL database
- AWS EC2 for virtual servers
- AWS RDS for managed relational databases
- AWS CloudWatch for Application Monitoring
- SharePoint for file, web part, and list management
- API Integration : Ability to integrate RESTful APIs endpoints with the React frontend to fetch and manipulate data.
- Debugging and Testing : Proficiency in debugging React applications and writing unit tests using libraries like Jest and React Testing Library.
- Communication and Collaboration : Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment, including sharing progress, asking for help when needed, and providing constructive feedback.
- Continuous Learning : Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development and cloud infrastructure management.
- Technology Knowledge : Maintain knowledge and skills on existing and emerging agile best practices, technologies relevant to supported projects, security best practices, etc.
Required Experience :
Education : Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Salary and Benefits :
This position is contingent upon future contract award to Gunnison Consulting. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
