Job Summary
Performs a variety of routine and complex public safety work in the performance of the Detention Division, providing for the incarceration and well-being of pre-sentenced and sentenced inmates through care, custody and control.
Pay Rate
The annual salary range is from $65,056.55 to $92,022.40, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

Requirements
Qualifications/Education
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
- Must be 21 years or older at the time of employment.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both written and orally.
- Must be of good moral character and of temperate and industrious habits.
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license without record of suspension or revocation in any state.
- No felony convictions and/or serious misdemeanor, disqualifying criminal histories.
- Ability to meet Department's physical standards.
- Ability to obtain certification for CPR/First Aid.
- Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
- May have to cover shifts or be on call in emergency situations.
