Job Summary
Assist in meeting the objectives of the Upper Gunnison River Watershed Weed Management Plan through implementation of integrated weed management activities and administration of the Gunnison County Weed Management Program. Participate in and lead coordinated weed management and outreach/educational efforts of Gunnison County and its partner agencies.
Pay Rate
The hourly range is from $25.01 to $28.48, depending on experience, plus partial benefits.

Requirements:- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
- Must possess a CDA Pesticide Applicator’s license.
Qualifications/Education
- Graduation with (or pursuing) an accredited two or four-year college or university degree in agriculture, land management, environmental sciences or closely related field
- Two years of college and 8 months experience as a pesticide applicator with (or pursuing) a Certified Operator’s License
