Requirements: To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Masters Degree preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in collegiate strength and conditioning programs preferred, program leadership experience preferred
• Licenses/Certification: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification required, NCAA recruiting certified, BCLS certified, Valid Drivers license required
Responsibilities:
We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services. As part of the team in the Rehab Department you will:
- Provide oversight for the development of sport specific strength training and conditioning programs for all NCAA sport teams to maximize performance and prevent injury.
- Supervise assistant strength coaches and graduate interns assigned to assist in the program. Creates schedules, ensures safety, supervises job performance, and collaborates with rehab director to provide annual performance evaluations.
- Advise student athletes as to health and lifestyle choices to contribute and enhance overall physical strength and conditioning
- Strategize and adjust current strength training programs with coaching staff. Communicate regularly with NCAA sports coaches to create and modify programs to suit the need of the team and individuals.
- Perform administrative duties, including maintaining waiver forms, equipment maintenance logs, student athlete attendance rosters, intern hour logs and NCAA compliance documents.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally (1-33%) - Sitting, handling, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs
Frequently (34-66%) - Standing, walking, change position, reaching, reach across midline, pinching, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20 - 50 lbs)
Continuously (37-100%) - Must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance
Compensation: $23.78 - $31.00/hr, depending on experience.

Salary : $24 - $31
