What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mountain Trail Crew- Summer 2025 position at Gunstock Mountain Resort?
Gunstock Mountain Resort is looking for some hardy and helpful folks to join our Snowmaking Maintenance Team this summer. Position will start around Memorial Day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Position is mostly Monday through Friday. There are a few weekends that will be required during special events. Must be able to work outdoors during changing weather conditions.
Other Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older with good physical coordination; abiliity to remain in a stationary position 80 % of the time, ability to position oneself low to the ground to clear brush, etc.; ability to regularly move 15 pounds, frequently move 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds; ability to work in variable outdoor weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license.
Perks Of The Job...

- Tree Limbing and Brush Clearing along trail edges
- Maintaining the mountain roads & Segway Trails
- Maintenance and repairs of valves and snowguns
- Misc Erosion Control Projects
- Able to operate small equipment and machinery, i.e. tractors, chain saws
