Construction Superintendent
Reports to: Operations Manager
Gunter Construction Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating field operations, leading crews, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong relationships with owners and inspectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review plans and specifications, develop work schedules, and align crews to meet project objectives.
- Uphold strict safety standards, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure a clean, hazard-free job site.
- Monitor daily progress against budgets and timelines; ensure work meets quality specifications.
- Oversee crew performance, manage equipment usage, and ensure efficient, cost-effective operations.
- Schedule and supervise subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with project standards.
Must Have These Qualification:
- Proven experience in construction site supervision
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, project management, and quality control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
- Must understand scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Knowledge of ADA standards
- KCMO, MoDOT and KDOT paperwork a plus.
