Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all parents and children. This role is essential to the overall upkeep of our spaces, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct commercial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitary.
- Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as required to uphold facility standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols while adhering to safety guidelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
