What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collection Manager position at Gunton Corporation?
JOB SUMMARY
The Collection Manager provides primary collection support to all Gunton Corporation Divisions across multiple states. They will work alongside the collection team and division manager to ensure a successful process.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call on, find solutions, and collect on past due accounts
- Collection activities can include, but are not limited to: generating letters, making telephone calls, and supporting legal action
- Use multiple software to maintain a consistent workflow and an effective collections process
- Run an AR portfolio, staying up to date with changes
- Ability to run reports related to the collections process
- Additional duties as assigned by the manager
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to Corporate Credit Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous collections experience
- Must be willing to work in office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree
- Previous credit experience
- Previous managerial experience
