What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Gunton Corporation?
We are now hiring a Laborer to prepare Pella Window & Door products for finishing with either paint or stain. This includes disassembly, preparation, staining or painting, reassembly, and repackaging.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements
- Units will require hand staining and booth spray painting.
- Prepare units for finishing. This will require sanding, cleaning, and masking products with a high level of detail.
- Locate product within the facility and relocate to the Pre-Fin staging area. Return products to the warehouse once completed.
- Unpack product, disassemble, reassemble, and repack product all without damage to product.
- Complete any other departmental responsibilities assigned by the Pre-Finish Coordinator including cleaning and stocking materials.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Pre-Finish Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Drug Screen and Physical
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Gravity feed spray guns
