THE POSITION
Are you passionate about precision engineering and eager to play a critical role in high-quality CNC manufacturing? As an Advanced CNC Programmer at Gunwerks, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the production process from start to finish. Imagine working with cutting-edge technology—vertical and horizontal mills, live tooling lathes, and even advanced 5-axis mill-turn equipment. You’ll stand up new parts on Production CNC Machines, carefully selecting tools, designing fixtures, and optimizing cycle times to achieve top-tier performance.
Beyond programming molds, fixtures, and tools, you’ll have a hand in creating the custom tooling and fixtures that bring complex designs to life. Working closely with our product development team, you’ll help influence future products by sharing insights on Design for Manufacturing, making this a role where innovation and practical skills intersect.
If you’re ready to push the boundaries of CNC programming, develop efficient solutions, and make an impact in every phase of production, this is the role for you.
THE PERSON
We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical skill and innovative problem-solving. Analytical and sharp, you’re the kind of person who enjoys diving into complex challenges and finds satisfaction in optimizing processes.
You can work independently with confidence and focus, yet you’re just as comfortable adapting to collaborative, team-driven projects. Organized and detail-oriented, you manage your time skillfully, meeting deadlines even in fast-paced environments. Communication is your strength—whether it’s sharing ideas clearly in conversation, documenting processes, or collaborating with colleagues. Your interpersonal skills and knack for prioritizing tasks allow you to stay grounded, productive, and efficient, no matter the workload. And with your proficiency in Google Workspace, you’re well-equipped to stay on top of everything in a dynamic production setting.
If you see yourself in this description, we’d love to hear from you. This role is for someone who’s ready to make a significant impact, bringing expertise, adaptability, and a passion for precision to our team.
