Overview
This role will work on a team of 2-4 Content Specialists.
The Content Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that engage our audience and enhance the Gunwerks and Revic brand presence. This individual will be responsible for creating and publishing high-quality content pieces each week, focusing on different aspects of the business, including Rifles, Scopes, Rangefinders, and Accessories. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a passion for the firearms industry, capable of producing compelling written, visual, and video content that educates and inspires our customers. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure content aligns with marketing objectives and brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Develop, produce, and publish a minimum number of content pieces per week, including blog articles, social media posts, and YouTube videos.
- Research industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor content to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to create informative and engaging content that highlights Gunwerks and Revic product innovations.
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Create and manage a content calendar to ensure timely publication and alignment with marketing campaigns.
- Optimize content for SEO, incorporating relevant keywords and best practices to drive organic traffic.
- Work with graphic designers and videographers to produce high-quality visual content for social media and digital platforms.
- Engage with the Gunwerks community through social media, responding to comments, questions, and discussions related to content.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Stay up to date on firearms industry trends, regulations, and customer interests to produce relevant and timely content.
