Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate product counts and proper documentation for all incoming shipments.
- Maintain a systematic inventory process to streamline operations.
- Supervise and train receiving clerks to foster a productive, efficient, and safe work environment.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other equipment.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery delays.
- Implement improvements to optimize receiving processes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience with quality control and inventory management.
- Forklift Certification (required).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead as needed to handle inventory and equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including warehouse settings with fluctuating temperatures.
- Visual and auditory ability to operate machinery safely, including forklifts.
