Responsibilities:
- Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Food Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience for our guests.
- Dish Presentation: Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes to meet our high aesthetic standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with prep work and ingredient stocking as needed to prevent waste and ensure efficient operations.
- Receiving and Storage: Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely preparation of menu items.
- Communication: Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient operations and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Kitchen Policies: Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food preparation and kitchen policies to maintain consistency and quality.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent is a plus.
