Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the resort’s food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining. The role ensures that guests receive exceptional service, maintains the quality of the dining experience, and supports the Director of Food & Beverage in driving revenue and meeting financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff, providing feedback and support to maintain a high level of team performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inspections, and ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all food and beverage areas.
- Oversee scheduling and labor management to optimize staff efficiency while controlling costs.
- Support menu development and promotions in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in financial performance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking sales and expenses.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of food and beverage management experience, preferably in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and service trends.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around dining areas for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20-30 pounds, such as supplies or equipment.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to manage service setups and inventory.
- Manual dexterity to handle dining equipment, service tools, and menu items.
- Good vision to oversee service areas and read menus; good hearing to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively to convey information to guests, team members, and other departments.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $80,000- $85,000 per year
