Perform requirements analysis and integration support tasks. This position requires active engagement with the requirement owners throughout DISA and its mission partners, and the ability to contribute substantively to in-depth discussions of proposed requirements
Responsibilities
· Assist requirement owners with refining, assessing, documenting and maintaining requirements in preparation for review board meetings to convey key program objectives, their relative contributions to the mission, and estimated costs.
o Gather and develop requirements for assigned projects based on stakeholder input.
o Refine and decompose requirements to a degree specified by the Government.
o Prioritize, de-conflict, and validate requirements with stakeholders.
· Assist government leads with conducting annual capability gap and requirements validation/re-validation assessments in response to emerging threats, changing external guidance, and realignment of mission priorities.
· Analyze requirements for:
o Impact on existing DISA infrastructure, services, systems, projects, and processes.
o Strategic linkages to DISA and DoD CIO strategic plans and other federal mandates.
· Analyze potential solutions selected by the Government and assess the ability of each solution to meet the validated requirements
· Develop an executive-level Business Case Analysis Briefing for assigned projects
Requirements
· Deep comprehension of DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, including the ability to rapid recommend tailoring to fit a specific Acquisition Scenario
· Extensive experience with Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS)
· Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways
· Ability to combine knowledge and expertise from diverse areas in new/unique ways to solve problems.
· Strong ability to lead disparate teams from different groups form consensus
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice.
· Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment
· Active DoD Secret clearance
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 10 years of overall experience
· 5 years of experience with implementing DoD processes and documentation of requirements
