Project Controls Specialist
Gurrimatute is currently seeking a Project Control Specialist to join our owners rep services team for a major 5-year capital improvement plan at one of Florida's major seaports. This administrative role will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with the Port's project managers and/or construction managers, and other stakeholders. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.
- Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards for management review.
- Coordinate with procurement and subcontracting teams to manage resource allocation and costs.
- Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and strict document control protocols.
- Support change management processes, ensuring changes are properly documented and approved.
- Monitor and track internal and external project-related communications, including correspondence, emails, invoices, and contract documents.
- Prepare meeting minutes and maintain organized project records.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track project data.
- Provide procurement and contract administration support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
