What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Gus Perdikakis Associates?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduler I to work at our client’s site in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid position with 3 days / week in office and 2 days / week remote. The Scheduler I supports the installation and commissioning of new SCADA equipment, ensuring optimal maintenance of SCADA devices, and coordinating scheduling efforts across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and organize daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Technicians.
- Monitor manpower availability and provide productivity and forecasting reports.
- Coordinate with various teams (Grid Technicians, Project Planners, Engineers, etc.) to ensure timely task execution.
- Act as a liaison for rescheduling commissioning work and ensuring timely completion.
- Support cyclical demands of maintenance and new installations.
- Participate in regular management meetings to align scheduling and project objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Information Technology with a minimum of 3 years of related experience OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Experience with Maximo Asset Management and / or ARMS scheduler tool
- Background in Electrical Distribution utilities is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
