As a Software Release Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing software projects related to the company's proprietary Warehouse Execution System (WES). Youll be responsible for overseeing project customization, timelines, and ensuring successful product releases on a global scale. The role demands collaboration across global teams, a keen focus on product quality, and the ability to manage the complexities of software deployment and upgrades within the warehouse execution systems and supply chain space. Key duties include : Plan and execute project plans for the regions and ensure all features and bugs are tracked for this time frame Facilitating project launches on a global scale, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and maintaining comprehensive product documentation. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies Assist in product release by writing documentation, training manuals and release notes Communicate with daily standup meetings and ensure deliverables and product roadmap is tracking with the product manager Report to stakeholders regular updates on project and product status as well as budget summaries Managing and overseeing testing quality, and handling deployment feedback for product improvements. Job Requirements : Business or technical degree preferred. Proven experience in software project management (Agile), strong understanding of WES, and proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project). PMP / ScrumMaster certifications are a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a customer-focused approach. This position can by hybrid with regular visits to the northern Cincinnati, Ohio office when needed.
