Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in the decoration of cakes and pastries as needed for special events or orders.
- Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and baking is preferred.
- Strong skills in culinary techniques including food handling, knife skills, and food production.
- Experience in cake decorating is a plus.
- Familiarity with catering operations can enhance your application.
