The Role: We’re seeking a resourceful, data-savvy Promotions Manager to develop and execute strategic campaigns that drive brand awareness, increase foot traffic, and boost sales. You’ll collaborate closely with vendors, media partners, and our internal teams to ensure each promotion aligns with both short-term revenue goals and long-term brand development.
Key Responsibilities
Promotional Strategy & Execution
- Create and maintain a year-long promotional calendar (seasonal, holiday, and vendor-supported campaigns).
- Identify opportunities through market research, sales data, and customer insights.
- Work with the merchandising team to highlight key products and ensure promotions meet overall business objectives.
Marketing & Media Coordination
- Manage advertising initiatives across multiple channels, including TV, OTT, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Oversee in-store marketing materials (signage, displays) to reflect current promotions and our digital catalog.
- Partner with advertising agencies to produce compelling copy and visuals for all campaigns.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Track and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and POS data.
- Implement A/B testing strategies (digital and in-store) to drive ongoing improvement.
- Present actionable insights to leadership, refining tactics as needed to maximize ROI.
Budget & Vendor Collaboration
- Develop and manage promotional budgets in coordination with ownership.
- Cultivate relationships with vendors and brand partners to leverage co-op funds and co-branded opportunities.
- Negotiate vendor support and contributions to extend campaign reach and effectiveness.
Competitive Analysis & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends and competitor promotions to identify new marketing strategies.
- Adapt winning retail marketing techniques to fit the Gustafson’s Furniture and Mattress brand.
- Explore marketing automation and AI tools for improved efficiency in campaign execution and analysis.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison for promotional initiatives, keeping internal teams and external partners aligned.
- Provide guidance on best practices for retail promotions and customer engagement.
- Stay updated on emerging marketing tools to keep campaigns fresh and impactful.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in promotions, retail marketing, or a similar role
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, POS systems, and digital advertising platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
