GiT-G, Maryland Division is hiring a Cyberspace Training Specialist II to support full-spectrum cyber operations at Fort Meade, MD.
- As a Cyberspace Training Specialist II, you will be responsible for educating and training organizational teammates about cyberspace. Your experience will be invaluable in assisting in planning, developing, and evaluating training programs. Utilizing your experience, you will conduct needs-based assessments and devise training programs to minimize any training deficiencies. As a critical asset, you will be instrumental in ensuring the readiness of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of Training Experience. (additional four (4) years of job-related military “training experience” may be substituted for education requirement).
- Instructional Design Certification.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration
Preferred Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in training development to include:
- Assessing, designing, and conceptualizing training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies.
- Identifying the best approach for training requirements to include, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement.
- Developing instructional curriculum and materials; gathers and assimilates information on subject matter, organizes and condenses material, and prepares course outline, handouts, and visual aid materials.
- Training personnel and evaluating organizational priorities/needs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Developing individual performance evaluation concepts to determine the effectiveness of training, determining training evaluation criteria, development of evaluation procedures/materials, and revisions to existing evaluation materials and assess equivalent for relevancy to the overall inclusion of the training programs.
- Evaluating training and assessing effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives and standards.
- Developing requirements for individual and collective training and exercise events.
- Developing and revising training courses, as required.
- Preparing and update training manuals/handbooks and course materials.
- Conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
