MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize and execute the administration of practices and competitions.
- Recruit and retain academically and athletically qualified student-athletes. Meet with prospective student-athletes on and off campus. Work closely with and within the guidelines of the Admission office.
- Coordinate and schedule competitions and team travel arrangements and all aspects involved.
- Oversee budget management and program promotion.
- Provide a positive student-athlete experience.
- Collaborate with athletic and academic staff to support the success of student-athletes.
- Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and professionalism.
- All other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Basketball coaching experience.
