Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met. You will be responsible for advising customers on necessary services, managing service appointments, and collaborating with technicians to deliver high-quality automotive care.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, utilizing your knowledge of auto estimating.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow to ensure timely service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional services required.
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure proper service execution.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, services performed, and recommendations made.
- Promote dealership services, including tire service, shocks struts, and other automotive sales opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust with clients.
- Proficiency in auto estimating and familiarity with automotive service management practices.
- Knowledge of tire services and related automotive components is preferred.
- Ability to effectively transmit information between customers and the service team.
- Experience in a dealership environment is a plus, along with a background in mechanic work or automotive sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
