Job Details:
Felix Trattoria is seeking passionate individuals to join our pasta laboratory. Competitive wages and a positive work environment. Felix Trattoria embodies a philosophy of seasonality, warm hospitality, and the deeply rooted culinary traditions of regional Italy, lead by Chef Evan Funke, who is a culinary storyteller, a custodian of Italian tradition, and a master of the old world techniques of handmade pasta.
Required Years of Experience:
0-1
Culinary Diploma preferred
Some Pasta Making Experience Preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare pasta shapes as specified by the Chef de Cuisine and Chef Funke
Follow recipes accurately as outlined by the Chef de Cuisine and Chef Funke
Propper working and maintenance of large commercial pasta extruder
Station organization
Able to lift 50-100lbs
Ensure all supplies are stocked as needed for daily use.
Prior to service / prep list completion, cleaning and sanitation duties complete,
Perform duties in accordance with California Health and Safety Standards
Regular hand washing
Mark and date all products
Station clean up
Sweep and mop
Clean all surfaces
Store or dispose of all unused items
Skills / Experience / Certification:
Demonstrated knowledge of proper food handling, produce, meat and fish
Demonstrated good judgment of quantity, quality, and production
Knowledge and understanding of basic temperatures and food safety
Demonstrates passion for this profession and have a desire to learn
Multi-tasker
Team player
Comfortable working physically
Positive attitude
Current Food Handler Certification
Compensation:
Hourly (Based on Experience)
