We are seeking a dedicated and organized Food Expeditor to ensure the efficient flow of orders between the waitstaff and kitchen. Food Expeditors play a critical role in prioritizing orders and assisting in the final dish preparation, guaranteeing accuracy and presentation. With excellent communication and organizational skills, they maintain fast service and handle customer complaints.
Food Expeditor Responsibilities:
- Prioritizing and coordinating orders between the waitstaff and kitchen.
- Assisting in the final preparation of dishes to ensure accuracy and presentation.
- Ensuring that each dish matches the order and meets quality standards.
- Communicating with kitchen staff and waitstaff to maintain efficient order flow.
- Monitoring food preparation times and expediting orders as necessary to maintain fast service.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Maintaining a clean and organized expediting area.
- Notifying the manager of any issues or delays in order fulfillment.
Requirements:
