Gusto Benefits is on a mission to expand and enable access to quality health and financial benefits. We aspire to be the #1 Benefits solution for Small & Mid-Sized Businesses.
Our Benefits Product team is responsible for the full stack of Gusto’s Benefits product including the front-end app, its underlying platform services, and internal tooling for our Operations teams. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be provided an opportunity to play a meaningful role fulfilling Gusto’s mission and growing Gusto’s business.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day :
Thoughtfully expand Gusto’s health insurance portfolio to meet customer demand and solve the largest barriers to health insurance access for SMB owners and their employees.
Oversee product development for new health insurance offerings. Deeply understand our SMB customers and synthesize insights to assess alternatives for Gusto to offer.
Oversee strategic conversations with current and new carrier partners to understand and influence their strategic roadmaps to better serve SMBs.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is $181,000 / yr to $223,000 / yr in Denver & most major metro locations, and $212,000 / yr to $262,000 / yr for San Francisco, Seattle & New York.
Where do PMs at Gusto work?
We have offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York and have remote team members across the US and Canada. Our open roles will specify where the position is eligible for work.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week.
