Guthrie County Hospital has an opening for a part-time Dietitian in our Food & Nutrition Services Department. This position works an average of 15 - 20 hours per week, primarily on day shifts Monday through Friday, and reports to the Food & Nutrition Services Manager.
The Dietitian coordinates the nutrition care of patients in the hospital and links to their care across the health care continuum. Follows evidence-based standards to provide medical nutrition therapy including the assessment, nutrition diagnosis, personalized interventions, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patients. This role also provides nutrition education for patients and supports the nutrition care delivery system and works closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other health care team members implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or the equivalent
· Completion of a Commission Dietetic Registration (CDR) accredited internship or equivalent
· Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Iowa
