We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Newly Licensed Registered Nurse (NLRN) to join our team at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal wellness for assigned patients.
The NLRN must be a graduate of a Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and have passed the state board examination by the State Board of Nursing in their state of practice before beginning employment. NLRNs who are graduates of a Diploma or Associate Degree program or possess a non-Nursing Bachelor's Degree must demonstrate enrollment in a BSN program within 12 months of hire and earn a BSN within four years from their date of hire.
Key responsibilities include:
- Employing Nursing Professional Practice by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Advocating for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
- Participating in the planning and presentation of educational programs.
- Demonstrating leadership as change agents using collaborative leadership skills.
