What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Anesthesiology position at Guthrie Medical Group?
Guthrie Medical Group seeks a Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified, or Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist with transesophageal echocardiography examination (TEE) certification for our expanding team. This position will include a faculty position in our Residency program.
Opportunity Highlights
Anesthesiology Residency Program started in July 2020
18 state-of-the-art operating rooms
Approximately 250 open cardiac cases annually, as well as TAVR and advanced vascular surgery performed in a hybrid operating room. The position also involves working in the Cath Lab with our cardiologists.
Fellowship trained in Cardiac Anesthesiology or in the certification process, as well as certified in Echocardiography or the certification process.
Robust EHR used in all areas, including the operating room (EPIC 10-Star health system top 1% of EPIC Organizations)
The Anesthesia Department manages the OR schedule, providing the structure for a smooth, efficient workday.
Work-Life Balance
Cardiac Anesthesiologist primarily takes cardiac calls with rare callbacks.
Total time off of 8-10 weeks per year.

650K - $675K Salary Range
200K loan forgiveness available for qualified candidates
25K Starting Bonus
25K Retention Bonus for each of the following three years
