Job Summary:
Provides a safe environment for children.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ensures children are supervised at all times.
Ensures the environment is safe, clean and in good repair.Reports deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
Follows acceptable protocolwhen accepting childrenfor child care coverage.
Interacts with childrenand parents appropriately.
Assists in maintaining the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor, and learning environment of the classroom while allowing for the expressive and creative involvement and interaction of children.
Pay rate ranges from $16.00 - $22.37 per hour.
