Summary :
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), IT Operations is a leadership position responsible for supporting and executing the strategic vision of the CDIO. The role ensures that the healthcare organization's technology infrastructure, information systems, and digital strategies align with operational and clinical goals. The AVP, IT Operations will oversee IT operations, lead project delivery, and drive innovation in patient care and business processes through technology, ensuring the highest level of service and security.
Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT operations and digital transformation in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), cybersecurity, and clinical operations.
- Expertise in digital health solutions, including telehealth, AI, patient engagement, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams, build cross-functional relationships, and drive change.
- Experience in budget management, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and experience in ensuring compliance.
