Position Summary : This position carries the responsibility for the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and the appearance of the hospital.
Experience : On the job training is provided for this position.
Essential Functions :
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the hospital facility by following department policies and procedures utilizing the proper chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Maybe responsible for transporting hazardous, regulated, and non regulated waste to designated areas.
- Movement of light equipment and furniture.
- Collection and delivery of soiled and clean linen.
- Assists in the orientation of new employees.
- Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports.
- Provides excellent customer service to all contacts.
Other Duties :
- It is understood that this description is not intended to be all inclusive and that other duties may be assigned as necessary in the performance of this position.
- Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or nursing manager on the floor.
Pay rate ranges from $15.91 - $22.81 per hour.
