Essential Functions:
- Demonstrates a friendly, pleasant, and outgoing manner to patients, visitors, and staff
- Answers the telephone promptly and identifies department and self
- Assembles food items and stocks their station according to tally sheet and inventory needs
- Portion’s food items according to daily menus, standard items, and portion control
- Operates POS/cash register in an efficient manner and demonstrates an awareness of handling money correctly
- Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports
- Scrapes and washes all dishware according to department sanitation procedures
- Transports food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner.
- Collects all trash in the kitchen and cafeteria
- Scrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and places them in the designated area
