Essential Functions:
- Maintaining a clean, and organized environment
- Uses the appropriate chemicals, supplies, or equipment when needed
- Decontaminate operating room after surgical cases
- Maintains storage rooms in a neat and orderly fashion
- Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness for all anesthesia and OR equipment 6. Is authorized to access secured storage areas in the performance of essential job functions and duties.
- Assists in the orientation of new employees.
- Transporting patients and beds to and from the Operating Room (OR)
- Demonstrates proper handling of anesthesia and OR equipment/supplies during transportation
- Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or nursing manager on the floor.
- Demonstrates willingness to accept non‐routine work assignments as appropriate.
- Transport patients/specimens; obtaining supplies/laboratory products
- Complies with policies and procedures of the hospital/ nursing department
- Represents the hospital in a professional courteous manner to others while being sensitive to how others perceive both verbal and non‐verbal communications.
- Demonstrates willingness to accept non‐routine work assignments as appropriate.
