WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A CLINIC RECEPTIONIST - CORNERSTONE FAMILY PRACTICE
As a Full-Time Clinic Receptionist at Cornerstone Family Practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience. You will answer calls promptly and professionally, identifying yourself and the clinic, while efficiently creating patient messages in the electronic health record. Your responsibilities include scheduling appointments according to established guidelines, greeting and registering patients by verifying demographics and insurance information, and maintaining accurate updates in the electronic medical record. Collaborating with clinical support staff, you'll ensure effective follow-up patient care through an up-to-date recall system.
This position also involves collecting payments, managing a cash drawer, conducting insurance verification, and monitoring an automated appointment reminder system. Additional duties include assisting with supply inventory, sending patient no-show letters, sorting department mail, managing incoming faxes, and overseeing the opening and closing of the clinic. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key to facilitating a smooth flow of patients through the office.
